What to do if you find a copy of your product on ebay

Over the last few years ebay has become a household name, offering people the chance to easily and quickly auction a range of items from socks to cars. But whilst its ease of use and access are one of its main assets these come at a price, mainly counterfeit products.
If you find products that are infringing your intellectual property then you will need to report these listings to ebay via their VeRO programme. You need to fill out and fax to them a “Notice of Infringement” specifying the allegedly infringing listings and infringed works with an authorised signature.
Ebay then promise to remove the infringing products from their listings. But they will not look for them themselves so you must continue to search the site to ensure all infringing listings are removed.
