First prosecution for gambling app

The case was adjourned until 14 October and the prosecution was brought by the Gambling Commission, which has been looking into the rise of video game gambling and particular 'skins' gambling.

Skin gambling is the use of virtual goods ie tokens to bet on the outcome of say sports matches. Many are concerned that children can be targeted.
