Band Led Zeppelin are on the stairway to hell as the claim that they stole a guitar riff for their hit song Stairway to Heaven has reared again.

The original case was heard in 2016.

The Court stated in that trial Led Zeppelin did not steal the guitar riff from the song Taurus by Sprit.

However, on appeal, the Californian Appeal Courts stated that there were a number of errors made in the original trial.

These errors were particularly present in the directing of the jury by the original jury, which may have had a direct impact on the verdict.

Therefore, due to these errors, the original decision has been overturned and the case will now be heard again.

The case will now return to the district court, and it is clear we are in for another interesting battle ahead.
