Figures from BBW were for the period 1st November 2010 and 1st November 2013.

The figures are staggering:-

6,329 people were charged or cautioned under Section 127 of the Communications Act 2003 and the Malicious Communications Act 1988

4,259 people were charged

2,070 people were cautioned.

At least 355 cases involved social media.
