Transparent Google. The extent of the copyright problem.

Google has disclosed the extent to which it acts upon copyright infringments on line. You can see it here http://www.google.com/transparencyreport/removals/copyright/

In the past month some 1, 440, 208 URLs were removed. Our own BPI which actively sought the removal of many thousands was a key player in the requests.

It highlights how busy Internet trafffic is and shows to a large extent how Google is seeking to police as well as provide the service.
