Earlier this week, we reported that the creators of smash hit game Fortnite were hit with a copyright claim from rapper Milly Rock.

This is turning into a bad week for them, as another claim has been made in respect of another dance.

Fresh Prince of Belair star Alfonso Ribeiro is famed for his character Carlton, and particularly the Carlton Dance.

This is the key of the claim.

Ribeiro claims that Epic Games have copied the Carlton dance and used it as part of the game.

A claim has also been filed against the creators of the game NBA 2K series, for also copying the dance move.

Speaking of the claim, Ribeiro’s lawyer David Hecht, who also represents Milly Rock, has said the following:

"It is widely recognised that Mr Ribeiro's likeness and intellectual property have been misappropriated by Epic Games in the most popular video game currently in the world, Fortnite."

There have not been any details released as of yet as to what the claim is seeking in terms of damages, but as Fortnite is a game with worldwide popularity, the figure could be a big one.
