Ferrari breaks fans heart

Ferrari Trademark on Facebook

Sammy Wassem, a fanatic of all things Ferrari posted a facebook page devoted to his beloved vehicle. He was never paid. In February 2013, Sammy and his father filed a lawsuit alleging that Ferrari owed them payment for 5,500 hours of work, as well as infringing copyright of the Facebook page. Following this lawsuit, Ferrari counterclaimed for unauthorised use of their trade mark.

Stefano Lai, a spokesman for Ferrari said “The issue isn’t with Facebook or with our fans but with those who try to use Ferrari’s intellectual property to make money out of it.
