Google and Groovle.com

You can probably count them on one finger but Google suffered a loss in December when a decision from the the National Arbitration Forum, ruled in favour of Groovle and refused to order the transfer of the domain to the search engine. The judges did not think the name was similar enough to confuse people nor was there any element of bad faith. Groovle was more closely linked to "groovy" or "groove". This means that 2 out of 65 decisions have now gone in Google's favour. Groovel has been in existence for three or four years and were surprised that Google raised a complaint. In addition it own website carries the following disclaimer "Groovle.com is not owned, operated, sponsored, or endorsed by Google"
