Picasso Painting Dispute - Settled

The dispute between the heirs of a Picasso painting and The Andrew Lloyd Webber Art Foundation has reportedly been settled.

The dispute was over a 1903 portrait of Angel Fernandez de Soto. Andrew Lloyd Webber had purchased the painting in 1995 and attempted to sell the same in 2006. However it is believed that the sale was stopped by a Judge after claims that one of its previous owners had been forced to sell the painting at a low price after being forced to leave their home.

At first it appeared that no resolution would be found but it is reported that a settlement has been agreed between the two parties and the painting is likely to now be sold.
