Riyaz advises and acts for clients in respect of intellectual property legal matters and employment law. He has particular expertise on brand protection, copyright matters, domain name disputes, IT disputes and trade mark law.

Riyaz has assisted and advised clients in various registered intellectual property disputes, IT matters, including database rights and regularly acts for clients in respect of their brand protection issues. He has successfully acted for numerous clients in respect of litigation matters at both County and High Court levels including copyright infringement (copying website material) and registered trade mark infringement. Also the UK Patent Office and the Office of Harmonisation for the Internal Market for matter relating to trade mark registration.

Riyaz is technically proficient in respect of programming, the Internet, the science of computers and legal matters relating to the same. Riyaz also writes IP articles for Lawdit's Reading Room.
